This Rosh Hashanah, we would like to give you the opportunity to spread sweetness to your friends and relatives, while supporting this wonderful fundraiser for the Temple Emunah Sisterhood. Watermelon Wednesdays - Join Rabbi Lerner and Rabbi Fel for ice-cold watermelon and a story! We will meet for a half-hour after lunch (1:00-1:30 PM) on the following Wednesdays: July 31 & August 7. This program is FREE, and is open to children and adults. No RSVP necessary! Click HERE for details.

Tot Shabbat is a service for families with kids ages 0-5 years old. We meet at 11:00 AM for an hour of songs, prayers, Torah marching, a story, and more, and then join the rest of the congregation for the end of the service and kiddush! Seudah Shlisheet and Game Night! Everyone is welcome on Saturday, August 3rd, as we celebrate the close of Shabbat with Minhah, a Seudah Shlisheet meal, board games, and Havdalah. On the menu is Rabbi Fel's own Deli Roll! Click HERE for details.

Mishnah Study Group Siyum: Come join us as we celebrate the conclusion of our studying of the Mishnayot of Masekhet Megillah during Minhah on August 10th, at 7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend! FLYER
Movie Night! Ahead of Time: Documentary of the Life of Ruth Gruber; August 13, 8:00 PM, at Temple Emunah; sponsored by the Israel Committees of Temples Emunah and Isaiah. With her love of adventure and fearlessness, Ruth Gruber defied tradition from the moment she became the world's youngest PhD at the age of 20 in 1931. Ahead of Time tells the remarkable journey of Gruber, who continued to make history throughout her trail-blazing career by becoming the 1st journalist to enter the Soviet Arctic in 1935 and escorting 1,000 Holocaust refugees from Naples to New York in a secret war-time mission in 1944. She also covered the heart-wrenching ordeal of the refugees aboard the ship Exodus 1947 with photographs that helped change the world. This event is free and open to the public. Elul Boot Camp! Please join our rabbis during the month of Elul as they teach about the themes, traditions, and service structure of the High Holy Days. Oren Kaunfer, Madrich Ruchani (Spritual Educator) at JCDS Boston brings his energy, soul and excitement to davening and together with the participants, he will lift Kabbalat Shabbat to a high place. Drawing on his many years davening at the Carlebach Shul in Manhattan, Oren leads a service that is inclusive, spiritual, musical, rhythmic, and dynamic. Please join us! FLYER
RELEASE YOUR INNER FARMER - The Lexington Interfaith Garden is in its fourth year of growing food for distribution by the Lexington Food Pantry. We do everything from soil preparation through planting, weeding and harvesting, all under the expert direction of our head gardener. Temple Emunah works two Tuesdays a month, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. Wednesday Mornings - Over a light breakfast, Rabbis Lerner and Fel teach about the Halakhah (Jewish legal) and spiritual aspects of prayer. Join us each week after minyan for breakfast and learning. Minyan is 7:00 AM-7:30 AM and breakfast follows from 7:35 - 8:15 AM.

During the summer you can borrow books and DVD's from the Temple Emunah Library during shul office hours. If the library door is locked, just ask someone in the office to open it for you. The library isn't open on Shabbat during the summer. You may borrow books for the whole summer - due on September 10, and DVD's for a month. Just sign them out, using the book/DVD cards.
