From May 19 - June 9, we'll be having an Online Auction, with a great assortment of items and services at a range of price levels - hopefully something for everyone! The funds raised in the auction will go towards synagogue maintenance and improvements, aimed at greening our building.
We are still happy to receive more donations of items for the auction. If you have something you'd like to donate, such as artwork, crafts, jewelry, sports tickets, sports equipment, memorabilia, gift cards, Judaica, a unique experience, or a service you'd like to offer please contact Barbara Posnick ASAP at barbpos@comcast.net or 508-358-0812.

Steve Teitelbaum Memorial Basketball Tournament. Join us on Wednesday May 22 from 5:00-7:00 PM in honoring the memory of Steve Teitelbaum with pizza, speeches, and basketball and ping po ng tournaments! On Wednesday, May 22 at 7:30 PM, Temple Beth Elohim of Wellesley will host David Hemenway, PhD, to discuss a public health approach to reducing gun violence and simple ways you can help. David Hemenway is an economist and Professor at the Harvard School of Public Health. Join us for a special musical Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday, May 24 with The Kol Libeinu Band of Hebrew Chant Boston. With this spirited live band of musicians on harmonium, guitar, viola, drums, and clarinet, and singing by Jewish chant artists, we'll bring in Shabbat with joy and song! We'll start at 5:45 PM with snacks and schmoozing; services begin at 6:15 PM. FLYER
Tot Shabbat on May 25 - Tot Shabbat is a service geared towards families with children ages 0-5 years old. We meet at 11:00 AM in the aula for an hour of singing, dancing, Torah marching, stories, prayers, and a snack! Following services, we join the main congregation for Kiddush lunch. On May 25, Rabbi Lerner will be leading the service! No RSVP necessary.
Coffee Hour with Pre-School Families! On Wednesday, May 29 the Rabbis will host a special Coffee Hour at 9:15 AM for all Pre-School families! Stop by after dropping off your kids for an hour of schmoozing, snacks, and special time with the rabbis. Younger siblings are welcome to attend! FLYER
There will be a Tai Chi class with Jeremy Singer on Friday morning May 31, 7:40 to 8:30 AM, in the aula. Tai Chi improves balance and helps concentration and relaxation by harmonizing mind and body. This class is open everyone at no charge.
Wednesday Mornings - Over a light breakfast, Rabbis Lerner and Fel teach about the Halakhah (Jewish legal) and spiritual aspects of prayer. Join us each week after minyan for breakfast and learning. Minyan is 7:00 AM-7:30 AM and breakfast follows from 7:35 - 8:15 AM.
Israeli Folk Dance - Mondays, taught by Angela Schatz. 8:00-9:00 PM Beginner, 9:00-10:00 PM Intermediate. $10/class. For more info, email Angela Schatz.

Children's Clothing Drive May 6 - 19 -- Drop off at Temple Emunah. As part of Rebecca Kielar's Bat Mitzvah project, she is collecting clothing for children in need. Gently worn boys (sizes 5/6-18/20) and girls (sizes 2T - 11/12) clothes as well as sneakers, winter, and rain jackets are needed. Underwear and socks must be new in sealed packages. Donations will be brought to Cradles to Crayons, an organization which serves children in homeless or low-income situations.

Join us for a fun-filled morning centered around water -- seeing, touching and creating art inspired by it -- featuring the Drawing Lab of Deb Putnoi and local storyteller Cindy Rivka Marshall. .
