Celebrating 25 Years
This year, Open Circle is celebrating our 25th Anniversary! Since 1987, our social and emotional learning program for elementary schools has reached two million children and trained over 13,000 educators. We thank you for your support and look forward to working with you this year!
Open Circle Innovation School

Massachusetts' first Innovation School was the Paul Revere School in Revere. We spoke with Barbara Kelly, principal at the Paul Revere School, to find out about her school's Innovation status and how teachers, staff and students incorporate Open Circle throughout the school day.

As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, Open Circle is sponsoring a contest for students in grades K-5 to submit poetry, art or video that answers the question "What is Open Circle?"

We want to tap into children's unique perspective on Open Circle to help us better understand and honor the experiences of our students. Download a submission form here.

Open Circle's "Top 25" list of Children's Literature

For 25 years, Open Circle has been helping children acquire the skills they need to build and maintain positive relationships. For many of those years, teachers have turned to children's literature to deepen children's understanding of themselves and others.
