Dates to Remember...
12/01/2015 - Giving Tuesday
12/05/2015 - Loveland Burlesque
01/08/2016 - The Hound of the Baskervilles

Is it really almost December already? Wow, time flies -- and we don't want to forget to say "Thank You!". We feel so much appreciation for our wonderful patrons, who have continued to support our theatre these past 57 years... and for our amazing volunteers, who have donated thousands of hours of their time to help keep the arts alive here in the Conejo Valley!
End of Year Donations:

Do You Know What December 1st Is?

It's #GivingTuesday! Observed on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday is a campaign that encourages people to give back by making a donation to their favorite nonprofit organization ... and then spreading the word of their gift to family and friends.

As you plan your End-of-Year contributions, we hope you will consider including a donation to Conejo Players Theatre on "Giving Tuesday"!

Donations are gratefully accepted through the General Fund, which helps defray the costs of putting on our quality productions -- or through our Capital Campaign. With your overwhelming support of the Capital Campaign, we recently achieved our first goal of purchasing a new heating and air conditioning system! An expansion of the lobby, restrooms, porch, and entrances; new dressing rooms; prop, costume, and set storage; additional body microphones and upgraded sound capabilities; and a rehearsal hall/reception area are all on the drawing board ... but will need major funding.

No Donation is TOO SMALL!

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt public benefit organization, so your contribution is 100% tax deductible. Pledges can be all at once, or paid over a five-year period -- and payments are fully tax deductible in the year they are paid.

"I have been dancing -- and involved in theatre -- for many years, and in many places. My training and background is predominantly in dance, ranging from a high-kicking dance/drill team in Dallas, Texas, to being a soloist in a modern dance company (Oregon Dance Performance, under Carol Soleau) in Oregon. I currently dance with Revelations Dance Company, under Nikki Blakeslee. My first show with Conejo Players Theatre, after moving here from Oregon, was Monty Python's Spamalot in 2013; that was such an incredible experience, and I was blown away by the talent and kindness of the CPT community. Since then, I've been involved in a number of productions in the area. At High Street Arts Center, I had the great privilege of portraying Ulla in The Producers; I choreographed Guys & Dolls; and played Lily St. Regis in Annie. At CPT, I've been a part of Shrek (Mama Bear / Blind Mouse); How to Succeed ... (Assistant Choreographer); and now Follies (Young Vanessa / Showgirl / Aerialist). I have loved every opportunity and am so thankful to have been accepted into this wonderful community!

"I'm also involved with the upcoming show, Loveland Burlesque. This 'One Night Only' event is a fundraiser for the theatre on Saturday, December 5th (following that evening's performance of Follies). Directed and choreographed by Arryck Adams and myself, and produced by Shawn Lanz and Courtney Potter, it's a nod to those times when vaudeville/Follies casts would hold burlesque performances after their show on the theatre rooftops (like Zeigfield Follies Midnight Frolics). There'll be a variety of acts, with talent coming from all over the area -- some will be familiar, and some are brand new to the CPT stage. It's been an exciting journey to see this small idea that Arryck, Shawn, and I came up with become a reality. We are now just a week away and are busy pulling all the details together to make it spectacular. It is sure to be a thrilling night of entertainment and surprises ... you don't want to miss it!"
