"We dine well here in Camelot, we eat ham and jam and Spam a lot!" So singeth the merry Knights of the Round Table in "Monty Python's SPAMALOT," currently playing at Conejo Players Theatre! (And did you hear? Monty Python is reuniting next year! We like to think our critically acclaimed addition to "SPAMALOT" history had something to do with it. You never know!)

While Spam might not be appearing at many holiday spreads during these last few weeks of 2013, we here at CPT realize that not everyone can "dine well"... even having a holiday spread at all is a luxury.

So, in honor of our hope that families all over Ventura County have meaningful celebrations of love and family this season -- and with fish-schlapping thanks that the Pythons are getting back together -- CPT is instituting a FOOD DRIVE for the remainder of "SPAMALOT"'s run. And YOU can help!

Bring a donation of non-perishable food items (y'know, ones that aren't of the "not quite dead yet" variety!) for our "Arms... We Mean Alms for the Poor" Food Drive. And for your Knight-like altruism, you get something back -- either $2 off your ticket price (if you buy your tickets at the Box Office), or a $2 credit at our snack bar!

Donations will be sent to FOOD Share -- Ventura! Established in 1983 as a 501c3 non-profit, FOOD Share is a critical member of our community in providing food and support to the hungry of Ventura County. FOOD Share distributes over 9 million pounds of nutritious food per year via our 150+ non-profit partners, government programs, and outreach programs. FOOD Share, along with their partners, is dedicated to alleviating the critical issue of hunger.

2. Place said non-perishable, not-"not dead yet" food item in the wagon located nearby.
3. Request either a $2 discount on your ticket* or get a voucher worth $2 at our snack bar!
