Do you remember seeing Peter Pan fly in 1984 and/or 2012? Do you recall our productions of the classics such as The King and I (2008), Singin' in the Rain (2012) or Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (2010)? Did you enjoy of our challenging, wonderful shows we presented in the last 50+ years?
As we've all learned, the success of a show is never contingent on one person. We are a theatre and a community that comes together, pooling our resources, knowledge and individual talents. Whether you're a performer, season ticket holder, volunteer, patron, family member, one-time attendee, seamstress, usher, etc., etc., we couldn't do ANY of it without each other.
This year's 4th Annual Toast to Community Theatre is shaping up to be a memorable night. Bellavino Wine Bar has graciously opened it's doors and kitchen to our event. In addition to live entertainment featuring some of CPT's finest, we are also grateful to have received some generous donations from local businesses. Here's a list of some of this year's contributors:
- RESTAURANTS: The Mermaid Tavern, The Counter, Ali Baba Café, Stonefire Grill, Brent's Deli, Hugo's Restaurant and more on the way.
- GOLF: Rounds of mini-golf and 18-hole golf compliments of Golf n' Stuff ™ and Los Robles' Golf Course.
- BASEBALL: Dodgers tix from California Credit Union ™
- TRAVEL: Island Packers ™ has donated a trip for 2 to Santa Cruz Island
- Baby clothes from LA's City Threads ™
- WINE/BEER: A private tour of Ladyface Ales Brewery and wine tasting at Wades Wines' Malibu Sundowner Room.
- Gift baskets and more items to be announced
If you can't join us we understand, it's a busy time of year. However, if you have a friend or family member who might want to join us, please feel free to forward this to them. Who knows, you can even ask them to buy some raffle tickets on your behalf.
