AIG Exits North American PLL Marketplace
As you are probably aware by now, American International Group (AIG) announced last week their plan to exit the Pollution Legal Liability (PLL) marketplace.  Starting February 1, 2016, as PLL policies come up for renewal, non-renewal notifications will be issued.  AIG will also not quote new PLL business.  It is important to note, this decision does NOT impact PLL placements outside of the US and Canada, GL/PLL (EAGLE); Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL); or Storage Tank lines of coverage as AIG will continue to offer these coverages.

The team at New Day Underwriting Managers is here to assist you in ensuring a smooth transition when moving your AIG PLL policies to another carrier.  With over 100 years of combined experience in the PLL marketplace, our team will provide a coverage analysis of your insureds' current AIG policies, recommend the appropriate carrier to provide the necessary coverages, negotiate coverage enhancements when appropriate, and serve as your advocate in the event of claims.
