Jeff Slivka Named President
New Day Underwriting Managers is proud to announce the promotion of Jeff Slivka to president, while Jefferey S. Lejfer, CPCU, will continue as the company's CEO.

In 2005, Jeff Slivka helped launch New Day, which has grown into an award-winning, specialty intermediary of environmental and construction-related professional liability insurance coverages and risk management services.  He previously served as executive vice president and COO supervising the company's day-to-day operations and business development efforts. While retaining these responsibilities, Jeff will also concentrate on the development and growth of New Day's national carrier network, marketing and producer training programs.

Jeff Lejfer, who is also one of the company's founding members, will continue as CEO focusing his efforts on leading New Day into the future. He will manage New Day's financial, accounting, marketing and technology practices and work with Jeff Slivka to continually define the company's strategic direction and accommodate ever-changing market and client requirements.
 
Jeff Slivka's commitment to New Day's customers and employees as well as his dedication to the technical expertise has allowed New Day to achieve its ongoing goal to be the premier specialty intermediary providing optimal solutions in environmental and construction related professional liability insurance.

With a B.S. in Geology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Jeff holds the professional designations of Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS). He is a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America and participates in the National Risk Management forum, and is a regular speaker and author for the International Risk Management Institute (IRMI).
