Jeff Slivka, New Day's chief operating officer and executive vice president will join industry experts in a panel discussion on new trends in contractor professional liability insurance at the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) 2014 Conference on Surety Bonding and Construction Risk Management to be held February 3 - 5 at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida.

During the session, which will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, Jeff along with Bill Linney of Construction Risk Partners and Ed Littleton of Balfour Beatty Construction will discuss the topic of "Wrestling the Alligator: How to Manage Project-Specific Risks of Professional Liability for Complex Design-Build Projects -- in a Joint-Venture World that Includes IPD and Other Contractual Complexities." Among the discussion points will be a review of the policies currently available to construction contractors as well as their roles in mitigating the risks posed by the complex contractual arrangements that many contractors are involved with today.
