She will utilize her vast industry experience to enhance the environmental casualty product offerings to New Day's broker partners. "Maydelis brings underwriting, brokerage and management experience in the areas of Commercial General Liability, Automobile, Workers Compensation and Umbrella/ Excess Coverages," said John J. Heft, MS, CRIS, New Day's Senior Vice President and Director, Real Estate Practice. "Her understanding of exposures and in providing solutions that are efficient and effective will greatly benefit New Day's broker partners." Maydelis has more than 26 years of experience in the property and environmental casualty industry. Prior to joining New Day, she served as a Technology and Life Sciences Underwriter and Middle Market Manager at The Hartford Insurance Companies. In the past, she has also worked with several insurance carriers and agencies. With a B.S. in Management from St. Joseph's University, Maydelis is an active outdoorsman who was selected to serve as a National Referee for the Rowing Events for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
