New Day Standard March 2013
New Day Holds 1st Quarter National Sales Meeting

During the week of March 18th, New Day held its first quarter National Sales Meeting.  It was great to have our remote employees, Mitch Cohen and Geoff Haver, in the office throughout the week. 

The meeting provided the opportunity for our team to discuss where the company has been, where we are going, and how we can continue to provide optimal risk management solutions to our broker partners and their insureds. Read more for some highlights of the meeting.
New Day Premium Estimator

New Day Underwriting Managers' broker partners have been successfully using our Premium Estimator  since its launch in 2010 to obtain premium indications for Contractor's Pollution Liability (CPL), Combined Contractor's Pollution/ Contractor's Professional Liability (CPrL), Project Contractor's Pollution Liability and Pollution Legal Liability (PLL).  This tool has proven to be valuable in the sales process for many of our broker partners. Product Highlight - Professional Liability Insurance

Over the past several years the insurance marketplace for professional liability insurance (PL) for design professionals (architects, engineers, etc.) has continued to change.  The dynamic that is being created is that new carriers have entered the market, design professionals face new exposures and new coverages are being created to address the new and evolving exposures. The coverage choices among carriers are greater than they have ever been.  As a result, the proper analysis of an account's exposure, an in-depth understanding of the market and the customization of the PL program for your design professional client has become a more complex and complicated task - and one that New Day can make easier!  Read more.
New Day Gives Back - Trenton Soup Kitchen

The team at New Day continues to make giving back to the community in which we work a top priority.  Last October, our team volunteered at the Trenton Soup Kitchen during the course of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation's (IICF) Week of Giving.  Our staff truly enjoyed helping out so we decided to volunteer at the soup kitchen on a more regular basis.  So, on the second Monday of every month throughout 2013, a group of three New Day team members will volunteer at the soup kitchen by serving lunch for a couple of hours.  This month, the money from New Day's "giving back" jar was used to purchase some much needed personal hygiene items, which were brought to the soup kitchen by Jeff Slivka, Joe Buono and Maria Vutskova Gilbert, this month's volunteers.  It truly is a wonderful feeling for the entire New Day team to help those less fortunate.
New Day Takes on New York City

For the second year in a row, the New Day team spent a fabulous day in New York City on March 20th in celebration of our 8th anniversary as well as our recent successes.  Our jam packed agenda included an exciting tour of Radio City Music Hall, a matinee of the wonderful Broadway musical "Jersey Boys" and a relaxing and delicious dinner at Rue 57, a french restaurant and sushi bar.  Our team truly enjoyed the break from the typical routine.  Many thanks go out to everyone with whom we work for allowing us to enjoy this special day.
