Product Highlight - Contractors Pollution Liability
Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) coverage originated in the 1970s and 1980s as a result of pollution exclusions in General Liability insurance policies. With the "total pollution exclusion" that exists now, in most cases, coverage for environmental exposures does not exist in general liability forms. Similar exclusions also exist in the Auto and Umbrella policies. Without a separate CPL policy, potential claims can cost contractors thousands and possibly millions of dollars. Read more. |
