Results from the Visioning Survey
On June 27, 2013 the City of Fairway emailed to all residents on the city-wide email program an invitation to participate in a Visioning Survey developed from comments and ideas expressed at the Visioning Public Forum held on May 21, 2013. The goal of the survey was to help your elected officials gain a better understanding of residents' priorities.
The survey invitation email was sent to 536 email addresses and the survey link was posted on the website. The City received 195 responses, which equates to a 36% return rate. Although the survey was not designed to be statistically valid, the survey provided an opportunity for individual public comments/opinions and gives the Governing Body another useful tool to guide City Council action.
The survey results are as follows (click the link to see the results):
The Mayor and City Council would like to thank all of the residents who took the time to participate in the Visioning Survey. For those of you who provided your contact information at the end of the survey, please look for a special invitation in the coming months to participate in Focus Group discussions on the survey topics. If you did not provide your contact information in the Visioning Survey don't worry - all residents will be invited to participate in the discussions.
