I have a great group of supportive people around me, but there are moments when it doesn't feel as if I have the support I need (or want). I feel lonely or overlooked. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, even though I know I can reach out and ask for help, taking that step is difficult. I want people to know what I need and meet those needs without me having to tell them. The same thing happens in our ministries. We look around and see what other people have, how their needs are being met, what they're capable of doing with the support they have, and it makes us want more. Support is important, but how do we know what we need and how can we get it once we know what "it" is?
Let's dig in together this week to explore different types of ministry support, then define what we have and what we need. I'm also sharing a devotional you can use on your own or with your team to explore and clarify God's purpose for your ministry journey. As an extra bonus for womensministry.net Premium Members, I'm including "8 Ways to Hear from God" and "5 Ways to Say Thank You."
Let's reach out and help each other!
