Hey, hey, hey Java friend!
 
I'm sipping Yorkshire blend tea I brought home from England listening to the rhythm of rain against my window as I write you.  This rain is bringing in some Fall weather - bring it on! I love Fall - the temps, the fragrances... it's just cozy, isn't it?

Today I'm flying to San Antonio to speak at Women of Joy. Last night, I pulled out a few outfits and shoes to wear. Let me just say this: I think I just took my first step into the era of sensible shoes! I tried on those stilts I wore last Fall and could barely walk safely out of my closet! I weebled and wobbled and then took those cute 3 1/2" leather things off my feet! Would it be too casual for me to just wear yoga pants and my Nike's to speak?! Huh? I wish! 

Anyway, go to your kitchen, or your break room at work, and pour something warm in your fave mug and join me for this java time because you will really, really relate to what I want to tell you! It's about people... you... me! When I learned this mathematical way of thinking, it helped me understand myself and others better. I think you'll find it helpful - I sure did.  

And, by the way, I think  your tea or coffee will taste better if you put on sensible shoes, so don't hesitate to grab your bedroom slippers before you start reading! We're all casual around here!
