We can't do ministry, or life, without prayer. That's our focus this week, not because it should only be a focus for one week, but because I'm encouraging and challenging you to soak in prayer in a way that changes your faith and your life.
Prayer hasn't always changed my circumstances, but it has certainly changed me. God already knows my frustrations, fears, and joys, but telling Him reminds Him, and me, that I'm relying on Him. Prayer places a priority on my relationship with Him. It humbles me. It helps me know and trust God better. I might not understand what I'm going through, but when I give it to God, I release the tight grip of control. Who am I kidding anyway? I'm not in control. But I know who is.
I'm choosing to know and trust God. Will you?
