T-Birds Playoff Bound
The T-Birds will host Games 3 and 4 of a first round playoff series against either the Portland Winterhawks or Kelowna Rockets.
Game 3 will be Tuesday, March 26, at 7:05pm at ShoWare Center. The T-Birds will continue the popular 2-for-Tuesday promotion for Game 3. This means all tickets will be two-for-one and all beer, soda, popcorn and hot dogs will be $2. The 2-for-Tuesday group ticket special will also apply for Game 3. Fans that buy 20 tickets will get 20 tickets FREE for a total of 40 tickets.

Game 4 will be Wednesday, March 27, at 7:05pm at ShoWare Center. The T-Birds have a ticket special for Game 4. Fans that purchase 8 premium seats will get 2 FREE tickets for total of 10 tickets to Game 4.

T-Birds Vintage Jersey Raffle Saturday
The Vintage Jerseys worn by the team during the games on March 8 and March 9 will be auctioned off through a silent and live auction on Saturday, March 16. The jersey auction will take place outside the Hockey Store at ShoWare Center. The silent auction will be written bids taking place from the time doors open at ShoWare Center until the end of the first period. The live auction will start in the first intermission and the opening bids for each jersey will be the highest dollar amount from the written bids. The Vintage Jerseys will be auctioned in numerical order beginning with #1 Danny Mumaugh and concluding with #00 Cool Bird. The minimum bid is $350 and the minimum bid increase is $25. Washington State Sales Tax of 9.5% will be added to winning bid. Vintage jerseys will be available for pick up upon conclusion of the auction. Accepted methods of payment are Cash, Visa or MasterCard. |

Foundation Raffling Off Bourque Jersey
The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation will be raffling off an autographed Ray Bourque Boston Bruins jersey at the game against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday.
The funds collected from the raffling off of the Ray Bourque Jersey will be used by the Foundation in its fundraising efforts for the Kent Relay for Life. This is the fourth NHL player jersey the Foundation has raffled off this season to benefit the Kent Relay for Life.
The Kent Relay for Life brings the Kent community together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against a disease that has already taken too much.
The Thunderbird Community Sports Foundation promotes good health, physical education, and academic achievement by providing scholarships and grants for amateur athletes in the Puget Sound Region to participate in athletic competitions in team and individual sports, as well as providing grants to local youth and amateur sports associations for equipment and facilities for use in our community.
The Thunderbirds Community Sports Foundation and the T-Birds have been involved with the Kent Relay For Life since 2009. In 2012, Tyler Alos and Cool Bird undertook a challenge to see who could raise the most amount of money between them. Combined they raised $6,711 for the Kent Relay.
This year, Tyler has challenged four Thunderbirds and Cool Bird to beat his fundraising efforts. The players Tyler has challenged are Shea Theodore, Jerret Smith, Justin Hickman and Taylor Green. You can support the team member of your choice by clicking on their name below.

2013 T-Birds Hockey School Dates Set
The 2013 Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey School will take place over two weeks in August at ShoWare Center in Kent. The dates of the 2013 Hockey School are Monday, August 5, to Saturday, August 10, and Monday, August 12, to Saturday, August 17. Participants in the T-Birds fifth annual Hockey School can get half off the price of the second week if they sign up for both weeks of the camp.

Club Lounge Menu For Fan Appreciation NightThere are several Club Ticket specials the T-Birds will continue in the 2012-13 season. Fans that purchase a Club Ticket have the option of purchasing an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes soda and water for $14 per person.

Club Ticket holders also can take advantage of the 2-for-1 drink specials at the Club Lounge bar. Fans can get bottled beer, domestic draft beer, wine and well cocktails at 2-for-1 prices for the first 30 minutes after the doors open.
The T-Birds are also introducing a Meal Punch Card for Club Season Ticket holders. Purchase 8 meals in the Club Lounge and get a ninth meal FREE. |

 T-Birds Home Games on Xfinity On Demand
Seattle Thunderbirds home games in the 2012-13 season will be broadcast on Xfinity On Demand. The game broadcast should be available 24 to 48 hours after the game is played. On Demand is accessible to all Xfinity subscribers who have Digital Cable. On Demand is accessed by pressing the Menu Key on the Digital Cable remote control. Once in the On Demand Menu, select the Sports & Fitness category. T-Birds games can be found in the Thunderbirds Hockey sub-category, within the Sports & Fitness category. With On Demand, viewers can start a program at any time and have the ability to stop, pause, fast-forward and rewind the selected program, as well as the ability to watch the program over and over again. |
