 First Pub Night of the Season is Friday
The first Pub Night of the 2012-13 season is set for Friday when the T-Birds take on the Medicine Hat Tigers at ShoWare Center.
For $200 you can get 10 tickets to the game, 10 beers to drink at the game and 10 T-Birds hats to wear at the game. Gather up some friends and come out for Pub Night at the T-Birds game.

BECU Beanies for 1st 1000 kids on Saturday
 The first 1,000 kids at the game on Saturday against the Spokane Chiefs will receive a FREE T-Birds Beanie courtesy of BECU. Make sure to get here early to get a beanie. Doors open at 6pm.

The T-Birds annual Fred Meyer Turkey Shoot is set for Saturday when the T-Birds take on the Spokane Chiefs.
All female fans in attendance over the age of 18 can win a free turkey* from Fred Meyer by making a shot on net from the blue line.
Those fans that want to participate should line up outside Section 115 after the game.

T-Birds In The Media
Right wing Seth Swenson will be a guest on Northwest Sports Tonight on NWCN and KONG 6/16 Wednesday night. Seth will join host Paul Silvi to talk about the upcoming games against Medicine Hat and Spokane. Northwest Sports Tonight airs on NWCN at 9:30pm, 11:30pm and 12:30am and on KONG 6/16 at 11pm.
You should also tune in, or set your DVR's, to New Day Northwest on KING 5 on Thursday from 11am to noon. Cool Bird and some special guests will be joining host Margaret Larson. Any thoughts on what they might be talking about? |

T-Birds Broadcasts
The Seattle Thunderbirds have 20 games during the 2012-13 regular season that will be broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle. Select playoff games will also be broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle.
The game on Friday against the Medicine Hat Tigers will be broadcast on KPTK 1090 AM and the game on Saturday against the Spokane Chiefs can be heard on 710 ESPN Seattle. All games are streamed on the Internet at www.710sports.com. |
 Season Ticket Holder Holiday Skate
Event moved from December 9 to December 16
Season Ticket Holders, don't forget the Holiday Skate with the players on Sunday, December 16, from 1:00 - 4:00PM at ShoWare Center.
This is a ticketed event for 2012-13 Thunderbirds Full Season Ticket Holders ONLY. Your Holiday Skate Voucher will be required for admittance through the East Doors of ShoWare Center. The date for the Holiday Skate has been changed from Sunday, December 9, to Sunday December 16.
We encourage you to bring your own skates. Kent Valley Ice Centre will be on site for skate rentals. A limited number of skates will be available for a $5 donation that will go toward the Kent Valley Minor Hockey Program.
T-Birds players will be available both on and off of the ice for photos and autographs. The skating portion may be limited to 90 minutes if high demand for ice and skates. Bring your camera for photo opportunities with team and Cool Bird.

Players join Movember to raise funds for men's health issues
The Seattle Thunderbirds are encouraging their male fans to help them raise funds and awareness for men's health issues through the Movember campaign.
T-Bird players have registered profiles at Movember.com where they will be posting photos and status updates on the growth of their moustaches.
Fans can support the T-Bird players with donations to the Movember campaign through a player profile page or the team page. Or fans can create a profile of their own and join the T-Birds Mo Bro Team and help us raise funds and awareness through Movember.

Weekend Games There are several Club Ticket specials the T-Birds will continue in the 2012-13 season. Fans that purchase a Club Ticket have the option of purchasing an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes soda and water for $14 per person.

Club Ticket holders also can take advantage of the 2-for-1 drink specials at the Club Lounge bar. Fans can get bottled beer, domestic draft beer, wine and well cocktails at 2-for-1 prices for the first 30 minutes after the doors open.
The T-Birds are also introducing a Meal Punch Card for Club Season Ticket holders. Purchase 8 meals in the Club Lounge and get a ninth meal FREE. |
The Week Ahead The ninth edition of Thunderbirds: The Week Ahead for the 2012-13 season is now available. Each week, Thunderbirds: The Week Ahead will breakdown upcoming Thunderbird opponents and provide some keys to watch for. News, notes, and trivia will also be included each week. This week we break down the upcoming home games against the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Spokane Chiefs. |
Fans can download the Program on their mobile devices or home computer. The T-Birds encourage fans to print the program at home and bring it to the game. Fans can print the whole program or only the selected pages they want. The Digital Program will provide team and WHL statistics and information not available at ShoWare Center. The Program will be available for viewing by 2pm on home game days.
Starting with regular season games, pages in the Program will be clickable. Clickable pages will include player questionnaire pages and team partner pages. This means users will be able to navigate to the T-Birds website to find out more about a specific player or statistic as well as to a team partner website to find out how they are a partner of the team. |

T-Birds Home Games on Xfinity On Demand
Seattle Thunderbirds home games in the 2012-13 season will be broadcast on Xfinity On Demand. The game broadcast should be available 24 to 48 hours after the game is played. On Demand is accessible to all Xfinity subscribers who have Digital Cable. On Demand is accessed by pressing the Menu Key on the Digital Cable remote control. Once in the On Demand Menu, select the Sports & Fitness category. T-Birds games can be found in the Thunderbirds Hockey sub-category, within the Sports & Fitness category. With On Demand, viewers can start a program at any time and have the ability to stop, pause, fast-forward and rewind the selected program, as well as the ability to watch the program over and over again. |
