Arthur Burton worked as a tennis pro with me at both Arlington Y Tennis & Squash Club and Sport Fit Bowie.  His personal caring and love for the game made his on-court presence infectious.  He had served in Vietnam and later served the youth of D.C. before serving it up as a tennis pro.  Eventually, the treatments for his injuries while in the service caught up with his body and he passed away way too early at age 63.

I had hoped to get a recent photo of the grandkids, but I'll have to send that photo at a later date since this email has been delayed long enough that I want to send it now.  The top photo is Arthur at a family get-together and the one here on the right is one of our official club portrait photos.
