Shields organized the first successful junior team tennis program in AACTA this year with summer and fall programs for over 200 players. In the past, AACTA has always been oriented toward adults, with its popular tennis ladder, USTA leagues and summer team tennis. The junior program broadens the club's scope is growing tennis at the grassroots.

Join the Terrapin Women's Tennis team on Sunday, March 2 for our Pride Game against Virginia Tech.

Maryland will be hosting a High School Event Day for local tennis programs interested in learning more about athletics on the collegiate level and cheering on the Terps to victory!
Doubles matches begin at Noon, followed by singles play. 

Match takes place at the College Park Tennis Center, 5200 Paint Branch Parkway, which is right off of Route 1 in downtown College Park across from the metro station.  Admission and parking is free.

Following the match, join the Maryland Tennis Team for an autograph session and a meet and greet with one of our student-athletes!

The Chilli Cookoff is March 1 from 6:00-11:00 (6-7 Chilli, 7-11 tennis) at Sport Fit Bowie and is open to the public.

The AACTA Spring Tournament is April 6-13 and Annapolis High School.  Open to all AACTA members. Anyone can join for $20.
