For many farmers across the Rice Belt, winter has been long and harsh this year. To help shake off the blues and break into a little spring fever, take a look at the two planting videos below to get you in the mood for the upcoming season. The first video was shot April 2014 in Louisiana. Weather caused some delays, but area rice farmers got it done despite the challenges they faced.

The second video shows an amazing view from above as it depicts rice planting by air out in sunny California. Enjoy!
