Creator God, we come to You on behalf of the women and girls of the High Places. From the dawn of time, you have created both women and men to bear Your image and destined them to be co-heirs in the gracious gift of life.
We are grieved over the suffering of so many women and girls throughout the countries of the high places. They suffer in silence, bear the scars of violence, forced into sexual slavery and prevented from educational opportunities. They have not been valued or seen as You have intended. Jesus, none of this has escaped Your attention..."For he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from her but has listened to her cry for help." (Psalm 22:24)
Father, may NOW be the time that You release justice and mercy for the afflicted. Through the power of the blood of the Lamb, we bind the spirit of violence and destruction against women across the Himalayas. We ask that You would embrace those who are currently suffering from physical, emotional and mental oppression. In the words of Jesus, we say, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (Mark 5:34)
We pray for a revelation among every community that women, too, are created in Your image. Through this revelation, we ask for an outpouring of repentance, healing, and reconciliation between husband and wife, father and daughter, brothers and sisters...May Your grace and truth overcome the demonically inspired assault on male/female relationships. We tear down the stronghold of division in Jesus' name! Send forth tangible angelic protection for those who are working with women and girls, as they lift them to a position of honor among their fellow men. May these workers be hidden from those who wish to cause them harm, because they show compassion.
Lord, may YOUR purposes prevail, for You have destined both men and women to be co-heirs in the Kingdom of Your Son: for, "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28)
We eagerly look for Your redemption of women and girls in the High Places. In the name of Jesus we hope, amen.
