"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

Jesus, we are so grateful for Your leadership of the church, and that You continue to give it life and growth, in season and out of season.

Great Shepherd, we ask that Your church in these mountain lands would continue to "abide" in You; for, it is in intimacy with You, that we grow & mature. We bind any spirit of religion that would try to drive a wedge between You & Your people. Allow a fresh wind of Your Spirit to renew Your weary inheritance and release a series of signs and wonders that revive hearts and underscore the reality that You alone are God.

We also pray for courage and perseverance in the midst of persecution. Give these believers what is needed to stand and not be swayed by threats from radical religious groups. Glorify Your name among Your people and through Your people in life giving ways into the high places.

Jesus, we cling to Your promise: "I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." (Matthew 16:18) To YOU belongs all authority and power in this age, and the age to come. In Jesus name, amen.
