Pray for a Release of a Baptism of Love to Harvest Workers
"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:1-3) 
Jesus, it was for love that you wrapped yourself in frail flesh and walked among us. You became one of us, in order to embrace our condition and save us. We love your humility and kindness both towards the good and the evil.
As we extend our prayers and efforts toward these lands that do not have the blessings of your gospel, we ask that you would give us your heart of love for the people of the High Places. May we see them as you see them. Together we declare: love never fails!
May the harvest workers be gripped with your compassion and Lord, share with them your spirit of adoption and sonship for the people of the region. Let love plow, sow, weep, and in season, reap.
We repent for any time where human reasoning and knowledge have been exalted over caring for people. We repent of treating people hatefully just because they disagree with us or look different from us. We embrace "speaking the truth in love."
Lord, we use the words of pioneer missionary to India, Amy Carmichael, to bless our brothers and sisters throughout the High Places now:
"Give me the love that leads the way,
The faith that nothing can dismay,
The hope no disappointments tire,
The passion that'll burn like fire,
Let me not sink to be a clod,
Make me thy fuel, flame of God."
