"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." -2 Corinthians 8:9

Righteous King, we marvel over Your compassion and willingness to lay aside the riches of heaven to come and dwell among us in the frailties of human flesh. You entered into our poverty to lift us up out of it.
We ask that You will lift the people along the Hindu-Kush mountain range out of poverty. Through the power of Jesus' name, we bind the spirit of deception that keeps people enslaved through idolatry.
We declare that:
"Our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of man's hands. They have mouths, but they cannot speak; They have eyes, but they cannot see; They have ears, but they cannot hear; They have noses, but they cannot smell; They have hands, but they cannot feel; They have feet, but they cannot walk; They cannot make a sound with their throat. Those who make them will become like them, everyone who trusts in them." (Psalm 115:3-8)
Lord God, release a spirit of light and truth that brings freedom. We ask that You would dispatch angels, Your messengers, to create an atmosphere of encounters with Jesus. May it be made known to them, that Jesus has entered their brokenness and poverty to lift them up and seat them with Him before the King of Creation!
We shall join with them in praising Your name throughout all eternity: You, who were rich became poor, so that we may become rich in Your inheritance. May You receive the reward of Your suffering, Jesus! Amen.
