Praying for a Release of God's Glory Over Tibet & Peace for Tibetan Refugees
"You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas, who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength, who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations. The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; Where morning dawns, where evening fades, You call forth songs of joy."
-Psalm 65:5-8  Father God, You see the beautiful upturned faces of every Tibetan as they pray and search for peace. You have observed the repression of their culture and identity. We come to you on their behalf, the ones who are made in Your image.
We ask that Your glory be revealed in Tibet...in the government, in every village and in every temple. As they see Your righteousness revealed, we pray for a reverential fear to fall upon leaders to honor You and honor the people you have placed under their leadership. We look to You to answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, for You and You alone are the HOPE of all the ends of the earth.
Lord, we lift up to You the mass exodus of Tibetans from their homeland in this season. Quicken the body of Christ to respond with open hearts and homes to this mighty harvest opportunity. Stir up good deeds, generosity and Spirit-inspired strategies. Let the power of Your unfailing love find a resting place in the lives of the Tibetan families. Bring awareness to pastors and ministry leaders in Delhi and Dharamshala to arise and cultivate this open door among the barely reached peoples of Tibet. In seeking peace and refuge, may they find You, Father God, as the eternal refuge and Your Son Jesus as the only way to peace.
We bless Tibet in the name of the One who is faithful and true. As You "call forth songs of joy" in this nation, may Tibet be filled with awe at Your wonders! In Jesus' name, amen.
