Redeemer of all mankind, we praise You for being a God who constantly seeks us out. We thank You for loving us long before we ever acknowledged You. Just like You revealed Yourself to us, we ask that You would reveal Your love and salvation to Tibet. As they seek purpose and spirituality for their lives, may they find Jesus: the way, the truth and the life.
We pray for Your people that have been sent there to proclaim the good news of salvation. We ask for wisdom and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit as they seek to reach people who have never heard of the name of Jesus. We ask for blessing and favor upon Chinese believers who are living in Tibet to be able to reach out to their Tibetan neighbors in peace and hospitality.
Jesus, we remind You of Your word: "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes ...and drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." (Mark 16:17-18) Lord, we claim your protection over those who are sent to reveal Your love, and together we stand in faith for a clear demonstration of Your power in signs and wonders. Thank You, dear Jesus, that You are God incarnate: "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory." (John 1:14) May the Tibetans behold Your glory!
Mighty God, we ask that You would disarm every principality and power that has set itself up against Your salvation and truth. By the blood of the lamb, we tear down spirits of violence and debasement that violate their dignity as people made in Your image. We cast down every influence within and without, that seeks to set up roadblocks to the freedom You want to give. We loose Your Holy Spirit to work in bringing a new creation in the hearts of every man, woman, and child.
In Tibet, we declare that, "Among the gods there is none like you, Lord; no deeds can compare with yours. All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God." (Psalm 86:8-10)
