NCP Booth Recap
Nursing Consulting Partners had a wonderful time connecting with old friends and meeting new people at the ANCC Magnet conference booth October 2-4th.
Over 850 individuals stopped by the booth!
NCP had two speaking engagements at the conference. On Wednesday (10/2) Dr. Kathleen Stolzenberger with Middlesex Hospital (Middletown, CT) presented: How to Integrate Peer Review at the Leadership Level: A Success Story where a three-time Magnet-designated organization shared a successful tool for cultivating professional peer review at the leadership level.
On Friday (10/4) Dr. Vicki George, Dr. Barb Haag-Heitman, and Maricarmen Luhrsen, MSN, RN with Torrance Memorial Medical Center (Torrance, CA) presented: The Many Faces of Peer Review which discussed a case review of the innovative use of shared governance to advance contemporary peer review, enhance patient safety, advance nursing practice, and support role attainment in a community hospital.
