New innovative fitness program...


Netwalking
As health takes center stage this year and we focus on healthy business and healthy being, we have launched an innovative new program to increase productivity, encourage healthy living, and offer a new kind of networking - Netwalking!
 
Join the Chamber staff and our business co-hosts in weekly walks. Schedule walking meetings, take advantage of quiet time and/or connect with others!

Dawn Johnson Appointed to National Chamber Leadership Board

Chamber Vice President, Dawn Johnson, IOM, was recently appointed to the Midwest Board of Regents for the  Institute for Organization Management. Institute's Boards of Regents serve on behalf of the National Board of Trustees. Each regent is an Institute graduate nominated by their peers.

Institute for Organization Management is the professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Since its commencement in 1921, the program has educated tens of thousands of association, chamber, and other nonprofit leaders on how to build stronger organizations, better serve their members, and become strong business advocates.

Lakeshore Art Festival Registration Opens

Registration for the 2013 Lakeshore Art Festival is now underway!  This year's festival (replacing Art in the Park) will feature a regional network of 300 to 400 artists that offer a diverse variety of quality artwork. Event categories include; fine art: Art in the Park, local entertainment, and a craft fair featuring a children's lane and a Michigan food market. The event will be held July 5 and 6, 2013 in downtown Muskegon and will be coinciding with the new Coast West Music Festival taking place at Heritage Landing.
