Message from the School Head
Thank you to all of you who attended our Spring Open House last Friday. It was a wonderful evening that included a chance to see some of the learning that has been taking place this year, socialize with other families, enjoy the All-School Slide Show, and recognize teachers for their years of service. We even added in a surprise element with two acts from the MS Talent Show.
At this year's recognition ceremony, the following staff were honored:

Summer Opportunities Information
Please see the sidebar (to the left) for links to great summer learning opportunities.
The administration considers it important to give parents opportunities to give feedback to the school. One way we do this is the Parent Survey. You will be receiving an email next week with a link to the surveys. Please make sure to fill out a survey for each of your child's teachers as
well as the general survey and the religious studies survey. Please complete your surveys by Friday, May 17. Print out the "Thank You" confirmation page, write your name on it, and and turn it in to the
main office for 2 parent service hours.
Springtime Tea Party - Save The Date! 
The 5th Annual Ladies' Springtime Tea Party is scheduled for Saturday, June 1 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. Please look out for your invitation for more details. If you would like to be a vendor at the event, please contact the PTO directly at 626-795-5186 ext. 1122 or pto@newhorizonschool.org.
Box Tops for Education
Thank you to all our parents and community members who collected and submitted Box Tops. As a result of the efforts of our Coordinator, Ali Tamer, we received a check in the amount of $89.90. Every amount counts. Thank you for your support and dedication to make New Horizon grow and thrive.

If you have a child you wish to enroll as a new student, you must first complete the online admissions process.
