Sinai Akiba Students at NHS Today
As part of the school's interfaith program, we were excited to
welcome seventh grade students and the staff from Sinai Akiba Academy, a Jewish day school in Los Angeles, to New Horizon. About two weeks ago, NHS seventh and eighth graders visited Sinai Akiba and engaged in activities and observations. Today's schedule included a campus interfaith scavenger hunt, Muslim prayer demonstration, drama session. discussion on identity, and an organized game on the field. Our students did an excellent job as ambassadors of their faith and the school. The whole experience was a great way to help our students develop understanding and respect for one another.
