Message from the School Head

Sometimes a person's birthday, the day they were born into the world, becomes a significant day for remembrance of their contributions in this life. Every November 3rd, I remember my father's birth and reflect on his impact in my and others' lives and wonder what he would think about who I am today and how his grandchildren are doing.

With the Prophet's birth commemorated this week, perhaps it is also appropriate to do the same - reflect on his impact in my and others' lives and wonder what he would think about who we are today and how the children around the world are doing.   Perhaps on these days, and every day, of course, we could imagine him here with us and sharing of his wisdom and love to help us remain close to God and to our commitment to serving humanity. Indeed, one of the best ways to honor someone's memory is to live a better life embodying their values and following their example.

Let us remember his words, "None of you can be a believer unless he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."

This moment of comprehension carries the Dolittles from England to Africa where they try to save the monkeys from a terrible plague, escape from the native Jolliginki, and elude misguided pirates. With the cooperation of all the animals of Africa, the doctor creates a solution that in the end protects the animals and provides a new life for the Jolliginki and pirates.
