Florida residents with hearing loss can receive amplified telephones and specialized equipment for FREE from the Family Center of Deafness, a non-profit agency in Largo, with distribution locations thoughout Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. This equipment is made possible through the Florida Telecommunications Relay, Inc. (FTRI), a non-profit agency funded through a surcharge on landline telephone bills.
