Our monthly Saturday drop-in volunteer opportunity. Come lend a hand by fixing bikes and enjoy coffee and bagels thanks to our generous supporters at Myer's Bagels and Speeder and Earls.

Local Motion's 15th Annual Celebration & Volunteer Appreciation

Sunday, October 19th, 2PM to 5PM at Shelburne Farms

Please join us to celebrate Local Motion's 15th anniversary, and the 10th anniversary of Bike Recycle Vermont!

We are celebrating you, our members, friends, supporters and volunteers who have helped to make our first 15 years such an incredible success.

There will be live music, food, CAKE, and kids bike races organized by Dan.

Need a ride there? A 15-passenger van is leaving BRV at 1:30PM and you can reserve a spot by emailing christine@localmotion.org. If you're interested in biking out, a group is leaving from the K-Mart parking lot at 1PM. Email jason@localmotion.org for more information.

At last month's Bike Jam, volunteers installed walls and a door in the back room to create a show room where customers can browse available bikes. Last week, a group of 10 volunteers from B Corps put a coat of paint up. Can you help us this Saturday to fill the show room with bikes for next season?
