Notre Dame Alumni E-Newsletter |
|
|
Dear ,
It's great to be back at Notre Dame after a cherished three months at home with my newborn son, James. Returning to the alumni office feels like coming home to my other family. I've missed talking and meeting with our wonderful alumni each day! Karen Guest and the Alumni Association Board of Directors did a fantastic job handling alumni relations in my absence.
We're getting into the swing of spring - it's almost here! The alumni association is pleased to present a fun-filled event schedule, and we are finalizing another great issue of IRISH magazine. Meanwhile, our school and students continue to thrive, and everyone is looking forward to breaking ground on our new lower division campus in Pontiac next month.
Irish blessings,
Rachel (Alexander) Miller '00 (NDP)
Director of Alumni Relations

Battle of NDHS alum coaches ends with Irish win! Andy Dold '98 and Whitney Robinson '98 (NDHS)
On January 18 the Notre Dame Prep men's basketball team defeated Dearborn Divine Child, 48-41. The game featured the first-time matchup between Whitney Robinson, in his first year as Notre Dame Prep's head varsity men's basketball coach, and Andy Dold, head coach at Dearborn Divine Child. The two 1998 Harper Woods Notre Dame graduates, who also played basketball together at NDHS, continue to be good friends (off the court).
"Before the game, we were laughing and joking. We're buddies. Andy is one of my best friends. Then we realized it was two minutes before tip off," Robinson remembered. "I told him I wanted him to do well, but not too well. It was surreal, but fun." (Source: candgnews.com) Full Story

NDP alums and students well-represented in newest Eagle Scouts
Five NDP seniors and alumni earned Eagle Scout status over the past few months.
