We are nearing completion of the Westshore Master Plan. The plan will be complete within a few months and will identify specific improvements to streets, sidewalks, parks, etc. that will foster new private-sector investment and create opportunities for economic development throughout Westshore. We will be soliciting feedback on the plan at our Master Plan committee meeting on March 20. We will also be holding two public workshops in April. For more information contact Ann Kulig.

As part of the airport master plan update, Tampa International Airport has identified 7 sites totaling nearly 175 acres on the edges of their property that are no longer required for aviation purposes and could be leased for other commercial purposes. You can view a copy of the Airport's presentation about the sites here. Before the airport moves forward with leases on the sites, the master plan must be approved by the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority Board and the FAA.

It will be a busy few weeks for ribbon cuttings in Westshore:
The Richman Group has filed an application to rezone property at Grady & Spruce (currently occupied by Without Walls Church) to build 557 apartments.
