Yesterday, for some reason, I remembered a very special prayer that made a big difference in my life - and I think created permanent change in my perspective. And I believe that  most of you will remember it.

When I tried to deal with it head-on - it intensified. It was a very difficult and deeply hurtful situation.

And then, I found this prayer. I don't know how it came to me, but I embraced it with all my heart.  I took it into myself, deeply.  And in just a day or two - everything changed. It was truly miraculous. The guest was invited elsewhere - became very friendly and loving with me - and my life was once again my own.

And I believe it made a permanent change in me, as I truly embrace it every day... decades later.

And here it is.  I hope it will provide the magic you may be looking for, as well. I had about 50 beautiful for-framing copies made of it and gave them all away. And right now, my own framed copy is right here on my desk, along side of the picture we all love so much of our Beloved Sananda.

                Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love; 

Where there is injury, pardon; 

Where there is doubt, faith; 

Where there is despair, hope; 

Where there is darkness, light; 

Where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek

To be consoled, as to console, 

To be understood, as to understand, 

To be loved, as to love;

For it is in giving, that we receive; 

It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned; 

It is in dying to self, that we are born to eternal life.
