Happy New Year!
Our wish is for each one of you to feel a sense of progress on the path of unfolding and becoming your best self in 2014. We know that 2013 was a tough year for many of you, as many changes and challenges occurred on so many levels. Here's to going forward with renewed energy and vision:  Invoking Mars and Neptune for the courage to keep on the Path and stay anchored in our hearts; Jupiter to make it fun and to remember it is a bold adventure, this thing called LIFE.   

To start the New Year off on the right foot, we would like to talk about the power of Renaming. The name we give something is very powerful action. The name carries the vibration. As sound healers we work with the idea of changing vibration through sound each time we pick up our sound tools, chant mantra, sing or tone. The power of words as we sound each syllable is also a vibration that carries its own resonance and influence. Jeffrey Yuen, Daoist priest and scholar, says that the way to change dis-ease is to change consciousness. The way to change consciousness is to change perceptions of ourselves. The stories we tell, the memories we have crafted each keep us locked into a resonant pattern of limitation. A beautiful, oft repeated saying is: "The past no longer exists, the future has not yet happened, and the present is all that is."

 

What stories do we tell ourselves? What stories and definitions are formulating our current embodiment? Astrologically, it is a time of great change and releasing, especially for that which is not the truth of who you are. It is an excellent time to let go of that which is no longer sustainable. In psychotherapy, a technique of reframing a story or incident can set someone free from the closed circle that loops endlessly inside our psyches. Thich Nhat Hahn tells us to call things by their true names.

 

Take the time to ponder and revisit your stories. How do you perceive yourself? What wounds and limitations do you re-create each moment? If every cell in our bodies renews itself within a seven year period, then we are not who we were seven years ago (Saturn cycle).

 

I challenge you to radically shift these perceptions by renaming each memory or experience into its positive nature or its wholeness. Lay to rest the ghosts of the Po (spirit of the Metal element). Liberate those lessons of life into the deeper wisdom body of the Zhi (spirit of the Water element). Rename them to a higher vibration so that they may be rebirthed as light and wisdom. Change the name, change the perception. Allow the vibration and resonance to shift around you. This allows the POTENTIAL of the Yin and the POSSIBILITY of the Yang to unfold in a new way in your life. Carpe diem!

Remember that with the intensification of the light, sometimes there is a tendency to reveal those  dark places that are ready to come forth within us, unveiling the shadow. We are noticing that the theme that people are bringing to our practices now seems to be about the need to "Be Good". This season is a great time to explore Who or What is defining "Good" for you. Where is the struggle between ease and should? Are you making choices from love or the need to be good? We want to share our favorite Mary Oliver poem that speaks to "Being Good" and the self-destructive patterns it can birth:

We have released this protocol before, in a newsletter last year. When we went to go create a new one, it came out the same. It's importance is still applicable now in these current astrological influences. So here it is again, and if you used it before, do it again! Many of you told us it was remarkable in its effect. (Many people have said they feel like it is Ground hog day lately!)

 

When giving a treatment like this, use Chiron like Ohm, pairing it with each different fork.

These are not in order, nor is this meant to be a cookbook - check out what feels like the right flow for you. Treat yourself over a period of days or weeks to let the changes flow in. Use middle or high frequency forks.

 

Chiron/Saturn:  

Clears old or outdated limiting beliefs

Chiron/Venus:  

Allows creativity to emerge; allows a healing of the wounded feminine

Chiron/Mars:  

Allows and enhances courage, even when you are scared ("feel the fear and do it anyway")     

Chiron/Jupiter:  

Allows a vision of how life could be if we lived our gifts and shared them; opens us to the possibility of joy and freedom, to be as big as we are meant to be 

Chiron/Neptune:  

Allows us to dream beyond boundaries and feel connected to Source

Chiron/Mercury:  

Helps to synthesize experience, to activate our dreams through words and language, to ask for help from all realms

Chiron/Uranus:  

To ignite and burn away all that is false, the lies that keep us from living our truth

Chiron/Pluto:  

Helps us to reach deep into the darkness of original wounding, giving a bridge to liberation, letting the treasure emerge from the dark

Chiron/Nibiru:  

Reformatting the wounds, releasing the matrix

Chiron/Sun:  

Connects us to our true nature when we feel unworthy, infusing us with confidence

Sun/Nibiru:  

Nothing can stop you now; the recognition that "Heaven, Earth and I are one", you are not separate from the Divine

 

• Use on the Microcosmic Orbit; the Ren and the Du channels , to put you back in the flow of the blessings that flow from Heaven and Earth
• Use on the Yangwei Mai and the Ren for the "I need a miracle"
• On the Chong channel when the wounds or blockages are from your family of origin and you haven't yet shifted them, despite lots of earnest work
• Cosmic Capstone:  be ready for some change with this one, really!  (Du 20 Meeting of a hundred convergences, P7 Construction Palace or Ghost Cave,  Ren 17 Original Child) 
• Celestial Tuning: for aligning with what your destiny calls for, and GROUNDING it into the body (Du 23 Upper Star, St 25 Middle Start or Celestial Pivot, Spleen 8 Lower Star or Earth's Crux) 

Activate your light body and change WILL follow.  

  

Finish with the Ohm Octave spread:  Use the Low Ohm pointing to the feet, and High Frequency Ohm 2 above the head... give you or your client lots of room to expand into.  This grounds the field but does not limit where to move to.

 

Choose layer after appropriate layer for each one of these channels.

Using such a powerful intention and combinations, try only 4 of the pairings on each channel.

If you are really a Sound Hound, do more, but keep checking in to see how you or your clients are taking it in. Remember, a little sound goes a long way!
