The month of October is National Physical Therapy Month. We are celebrating in a variety of ways. First, we are dedicating this issue to finding out more about our Physical Therapists. Second, we have informational talks and/or activities scheduled each week (see schedule below). Also, at various times throughout the month we will have birthday cake, goodies, raffles, and other fun things in celebration of "all things physical therapy". Check out the information below.

FMS evaluations available
The FMS (Functional Movement Screen) looks at fundamental movements, motor control within movements, and a competence of basic movement patterns. Its job is to determine movement deficiency and uncover asymmetry.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Starting October 1st running thru Nov 20th we are collecting items for House of Hope (www.thefamilytree.org). House of Hope is dedicated to providing safe shelter and resources for homeless women with children. These families, overwhelmed with the daily struggle of where to stay the night and find their next meal, find a safe place to stay while they begin to get back on their feet. 
 
Example donation items are: Scarves/gloves/hats, Socks/underwear, non-perishable food, Kleenex/paper towels/toilet paper, Diapers/wipes
