Last month the inaugural IIE Summit on Generation Study Abroad brought education, government and business leaders, and journalists together in Washington, D.C. for action-oriented discussions on how to ensure international experience is a key part of a 21st Century education and make study abroad opportunities available to all.

Oxford's Saïd Business School and Schwarzman Scholars to Allow Dual Pursuit of MBA and Master's in Global Affairs
Oxford University's Saïd Business School and Schwarzman Scholars are pleased to announce that they will be partnering to allow their students the opportunity to complete both the full-time Oxford Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Schwarzman Scholars-Tsinghua University Master of Global Affairs.Dana Brown, Director of the Oxford MBA, explains, 'It is vital for future business leaders to truly understand the global and complex nature of the business environment they will be operating in. This partnership allows a select group of students to build in-depth knowledge, networks, and experience in China through the Schwarzman Scholars program, before gaining a deep understanding of global business practices and cutting-edge management practices by completing the Oxford MBA.' 2015 Russell Berrie Fellows
IIE Europe is pleased to announce the 2015 cohort of Russell Berrie Fellows in Interreligious Studies. This year's fellows constitute a highly qualified and diverse group of scholars seeking to make a difference by contributing to interreligious dialogue and interfaith understanding through their year-long education pursuing a Diploma or Licence degree in Interreligious Studies at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome.
In its eighth year, the Russell Berrie Fellowship in Interreligious Studies aims to build bridges between Christian, Jewish, and other religious traditions by providing the next generation of religious leaders with a comprehensive understanding of and dedication to interfaith issues.

The ten fellows come from nine different countries and represent a wide range of interests within interreligious studies. Their educational background, besides theology and religious studies, includes business administration, religious journalism, Arabic and Islamic studies as well as languages. ASSIST Hungary
Earn a scholarship to attend a private high school in the USA. Candidacy for a place in the ASSIST program is competitive and is open to students between 15 and 18 years of age. ASSIST has selected 4,820 students from 51 countries since 1968. Criteria for selection include: academic achievement, special talents, English skills and appealing personal qualities. The application deadline is November 30, 2015. The selected scholars will begin their American year in August 2016.
