EAIEIIE Europe at the EAIE Conference

    Prague, Czech Republic
    September 16-19, 2014

Members from the Institute of International Education Europe team will attend the 26th annual European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference in Prague, Czech Republic, September 16 to 19. Among other programs and resources we will share information on IIE's new partnership with Schwarzman Scholars, an elite, fully-funded one-year Master's program for students from around the world at Tsinghua University, one of China's leading institutions.  The first class of Schwarzman Scholars will begin their studies in summer 2016.  IIE's global offices will be facilitating outreach and selection, starting with an event to formally launch the program in Europe in London in November 2014.

On the first day of the EAIE Conference, we will host the fifth annual IIE Europe networking reception with over 60 key partners attending. Conference participants who wish to learn about our wide range of programs and activities will have a chance to drop by the U.S. Pavilion (booth 309) hosted by EducationUSA. IIE Europe will be joining 14 U.S. higher education institutions in the Pavilion.

EducationUSA will also host a U.S. reception at the Pavilion. With this effort EducationUSA seeks to promote U.S. study to a European audience, and provide accurate, comprehensive, and current information about accredited higher education institutions in the United States.

The European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference - the largest event of its kind in Europe - will bring together more than 4,800 international higher education professionals from over 90 countries in Prague.
