Celebrate Cooperative Program Sunday

Each April Southern Baptists set aside one special Sunday to inform and educate church members about our Southern Baptist missions support system -- the Cooperative Program (CP). This year national CP Sunday is April 12 (or a Sunday of your choice).

Help share this message:

Thank you for giving through the Cooperative Program.
Every dollar touches the world!

Each Southern Baptist church gives a percentage of its undesignated weekly offering to missions through CP. Together Illinois churches gave $6.1 million in 2014. And Southern Baptists in the U.S. gave about $188 million for missions. We sent missionaries to share Christ in Chicago, Bourbonnais, Bangladesh, Carbondale, Colorado, Congo, Costa Rica, Davis Junction, East St. Louis, Moline, Montreal, Madagascar, North Aurora, South America, and West Virginia. And about 5,000 other places!

Cooperative Program

is a kind of clunky old name for a really contemporary plan:

Cooperation!
