The IBSA Annual Meeting: It was all about prayer

Messengers to the 108th Annual Meeting of the Illinois Baptist State Association Nov. 5-6 pled for spiritual awakening and revival, highlighted in a Concert of Prayer based on Isaiah 6. "I believe we need to cry out to God for spiritual awakening and for revival in our churches," said IBSA Executive Director Nate Adams as he opened the Concert of Prayer. He asked attenders to lament the decline of our culture. Learn more about the IBSA Annual Meeting at IB2news.org.

You can host a 'Concert of Prayer' at your church

Why churches need to change the way they talk about sex
Our culture is talking about sex every ... single ... day. And increasingly, they're talking about how the church is talking about it. Given the tone of some of the current dialogue, the damage done by the way we talk about sex may actually rival the damage done by sex outside of marriage itself.
