We were so glad to be part of the Women's Missions Celebration in Marion! If you were at the meeting, you received a postcard about this year's Mission Illinois Offering. We hope you were able to tear off the response half of the card and turn it in to us before you left Marion. But if you still have your card or weren't at the meeting, we need your help promoting this year's state missions offering, which goes to:
- Start new churches here in Illinois,
- Strengthen existing congregations,
- Support campus outreach and compassion ministries, and
- Assist with state missionary salaries no longer covered by other ministry partners.
Fewer than half of all IBSA churches participated in the Mission Illinois Offering last year. We need all our Illinois churches and people with a heart for missions to step up and support the Offering this year. It's important we reach our goal of $475,000.
Reply to this e-mail with your name, church and city, and we'll send information to you and your pastor, including a new slate of videos you can use to promote the Offering in your church. Or, if you still have your postcard from Marion, simply fill it out and put it in the mail, no postage required.
