In Illinois and worldwide, Baptists advance the gospel. Here's one example of short-term missions to Haiti. Watch more MIO videos at IBSA.org/mio.

Two major SBC prayer events are coming this fall
A Call To Pray A group of 47 Southern Baptist pastors is inviting senior pastors to participate in A Call to Pray for Revival and Awakening Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in Southlake, Texas, located in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The 24-hour event is free and a $75 stipend is available to offset hotel cost. Learn more at BPnews.net.

TenTwo The North American Mission Board is asking pastors and church leaders to pray Luke 10:2 as part of its TENTWO prayer effort. NAMB invites Southern Baptists to pray at 10:02 each day - morning or night - that God will send workers into His harvest field, and to host a special prayer service in their churches on Oct. 2. Learn more at NAMB.net.
IBSA Is your church experiencing difficulty? IBSA can help
Many churches today are plateaued or declining. Maybe your church is one of those. Sylvan Knobloch, IBSA director of Church Health Development, is seeking ten churches to participate in a project to determine a successful intervention strategy for declining churches. The process is intended to be customized to meet each church's goals.

Prime: A Conference on Biblical Manhood

God's calling for every man is to let his life, his marriage, and his relationships be a picture of the Gospel. "Prime" calls men to the first importance of his personal walk and his role in his home. Bring the men of your church for a powerful night of worship and challenging messages on God's design for men at Sept. 19 at Faith Tabernacle, Chicago or Sept. 26 Bethel BC, Troy. Learn more about Prime at IBSA.org.

Crazy numbers The craziest statistic you'll read about North American missions
New research shows an astonishing number of non-Christians in the U.S. and Canada don't know any Christians. While 80% of the U.S. population identifies as Christian, 1 in 5 non-Christians say they do not "personally know" any Christians. Learn more about how you can connect with non-Christians at ChristianityToday.com.
