Healthy Active Schools Symposia
|

Join us for our Provincial Tour supporting student leadership and promoting healthy school communities! It's easy to see how students across the province become the backbone to successful, healthy school communities. Their leadership and desire to take action often starts with the simplest of ideas and turns into life changing events for their school and community. This notion is the focus of this year's Healthy Active School Symposia. The book, "What do you do with an idea?" is about the ideas that follow children around daily, and how a little thought, support and creativity can turn these ideas into lasting change. Join us at a Healthy Active School Symposium this fall to see these ideas 'take flight and change the world.'
- Following each HASS event, school teams will have the opportunity to complete an online Action Plan using the brilliant ideas sparked throughout the day, for a chance to receive up to $500 to put their ideas into action.
- Recipients will have an opportunity to create a short video of their project to be featured at future Ever Active Events. For more details continue to visit the HASS webpage and please contact Chris.
