Shaping the Future Rural Bursary
Funding is available to support rural school communities who are attending Shaping the Future for the first time. The goal is to support rural & remote communities and to introduce the provincial work happening around comprehensive school health. Funding has generously been provided by the Alberta Coalition for Healthy School Communities. For details on the conference, please visit here.
Support details:
- The maximum funding available to each applicant is $500
- Only one applicant per school can receive the bursary
- Priority will be given to remote communities in the northern part of the province that have not attended Shaping the Future in the past
- Successful applicants will have to report back how they have shared the lessons from the conference in their school
- Application deadline: December 16th
- Applicants will be notified by December 18th
- Bursaries will be sent out 7-10 days following the conference
