Physical Activity Tip: Move and Shake Warm Up

Our Education Coordinator, Tracy, demonstrates an activity idea to increase physical activity levels in your Physical Education class. Start the music, hold up a Physical Literacy Move and Shake Warm Up Card and invite students to move as soon as they enter the activity space.

Physical Literacy Summit - March 5-6, 2015

 Ever Active Schools, along with our partners, is excited to be hosting a two-day Physical Literacy Summit in Calgary, Alberta on March 5-6, 2015.
Our goal is to further educate, re-engage and ultimately embed quality physical literacy experience in a school setting, as well as support alignment of provincial initiatives focused on physical literacy and highlight Active Alberta stories from across the province.
Who should attend? Educators, coaches, recreation leaders, PLAY groups, Physical Literacy Summer Institute attendees, sport organizations and anyone interested in moving from presentation to meaningful participation in development of a healthy, active population!
