Take This Survey for a Chance to Win!

Ever Active Schools is looking for your assistance in filling out a survey, to help Ever Active Schools better understand successful school-community partnerships − their common successes and challenges, as well as potential solutions and incentives that could support more meaningful partnerships.

In appreciation of your time to fill out the survey, the first 200 respondents will receive a $5 electronic gift card from Subway. Every respondent will also be entered into a draw to receive a gift card of $300 for Mountain Equipment Co-op or Delta Hotel and Resorts. To be entered into the draw, respond on or before December 15th.

Ever Active Schools will report back to respondents with results of the cumulative provincial findings. Thank you for your support!

PLAY Parkland Project

Bringing Active Alberta to life,
PLAY Parkland is a community active living prototype that will result in Albertans who are more active, more often. Working within Parkland schools, a key component of PLAY Parkland is providing teachers with quality physical literacy and physical education coaching, resources and sustainability. Lead teachers and their classes will participate in an out-of-school residency at the TransAlta Tri-Leisure Centre where they will experience physical literacy in alternative environments. Each class will also experience physical literacy in an outdoor setting at YWCA YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Centre. Ultimately, this project will embed physical literacy into teaching and learning, impact the entire school culture and will be impact the broader community in a positive way. Lessons from this work are shared at a Physical Literacy Summit, held in Calgary in early March. Find out more.

Thank you for your continued dedication to the health and wellness of our children and youth.
