Canadian Blind Sports Resources
Canadian Blind Sports has created free resources to promote inclusive physical education for students with a visual impairment. The resources are geared towards PE specialists or classroom teachers who teach their own PE. They promote the Paralympic sport of Goalball and emphasize physical literacy for all students.

HASS Flash Mob
Students from Highlands School helped EAS develop this year's Healthy Active School Symposia (HASS) flash mob. We filmed both Highlands students and Afton School students performing the flashmob. They did a great job! Thank you to students and staff at Highlands and Afton School! Students participating in HASS will learn the dance and then perform it at their HASS event.

AMA Youth Run Club Launch

The Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Youth Run Club kicked off the 2014-15 school year with a launch in Edmonton, on October 1, and Calgary, on October 2.
Dr. Johnston, AMA President, and John Stanton, Running Room Founder and CEO, spoke at both events. McKernan and Panorama Hills students took part in a 1 km fun run, and all participants received a finisher's medal!
